"Music Memories That Last Forever"

Frequently asked questions

Below you will find a few of the questions frequently asked during the entertainment
selection process.

Q. How far in Advance should I book your services?

A. It is a good idea to book your entertainment soon after you sign an agreement with the catering facility.

Q. Do you use professional equipment?

A. We use some the most reliable professional DJ equipment on the market, this allows us to
consistently deliver bullet-proof sound every time, no matter the size of the crowd.

Q. Do you provide a contract?

A. All Collective Moods DJ events are covered by a simple, yet legal, contract which outlines
the Terms and Conditions under which we perform.  This is protection for all parties involved.

Q. Can we make a list of songs to be played?

A. Yes, your input is vital to creating the perfect mix of music. One of our Event Planners will provide
you with a list of approximately 1,000 of our most requested songs to use as a guideline in making your
selections.  You can have as much or as little control over the play list. Most clients prefer to give us
a handful of important “must plays” and leave the rest of the mix to us.  You decide.  If you choose to make
all the selection, we will honor your request.  It is your day and we want it to be Special one.

Q. Do you take requests?

A. Yes, we gladly accept requests from your guests.  You can be assured that your guests’ selections
will be included, as long as they are in keeping with your predetermined guidelines.

Q. Do you charge for travel or set-up?

A. Collective Moods DJ does not charge for travel or set-up except in extreme circumstances. (No elevator
access to an upstairs event, or a venue more than 60 miles from our office.)

Q. How much time do you require for set-up and break-down? Is there a charge for this?

A. Our DJ will arrive approximately two hours prior to start time to set up equipment and, more
importantly, to discuss all pertinent matters with the catering director and other wedding vendors to
ensure proper timing of your reception events.
